Our websites have many purposes for our business, right? They are a reflection of who we are and what we do, share our services and/or products, and give potential clients a space to contact us. But, arguably the most important feature a website can provide, is creating a connection with a potential client. Your FAQ page is the perfect place to showcase all of this!
Your website is your go-to spot for people to check out your business and decide if you are the right fit for them. So, creating opportunities to speak directly to your audience is key.
An FAQ page is a built in space where you can get into the minds of your potential clients and make a connection with them.
Using real feedback from former clients, your FAQ page can be full of content you already have.
Start with these tips for building your own FAQ page.
- Use real questions about your services! These can be questions from previous clients, networking events, or your Uncle asking for the third time “what it is that you do” at Thanksgiving.
- Try looking at another service provider’s website in a field you don’t know much about. What kinds of questions would you ask them? Could you incorporate some of those into your own FAQ page?
- Be thorough and HONEST. Having one answer on your website and another answer when discussing your services later on can be confusing and frustrating for your client. Make sure you have a clear idea of your business and services before creating your FAQ page.
Another added bonus of an FAQ page, is that it becomes another space to show your brand’s personality! Make sure your brand really comes through on this page and work with a Website Designer that has experience designing FAQ pages.
