I recently had the pleasure of working on the design for a small business brand, located here in Reno, NV. Stephanie is an award-winning esthetician, specializing in acne and sensitive skin. She is an amazingly hard-working business owner of Evergreen Esthetics, a current resident at Plumb and Pine.
If you love seeing skin transformations, then I definitely recommend following Stephanie on Instagram. Before coming to me, her page was already full of high-quality content. It was just missing the look and feel she was going for.
Stephanie ended up reaching out to me after seeing this post about rebranding. She wrote me and said, “I saw your post about rebranding…I’m intrigued. I feel I fit the ‘my niche has changed’ and ‘I just raised my rates’ but am getting questionable looks from clients…Wondering how you could help?”
Stephanie was looking for a more elevated brand to attract the kind of clients that made their skin a top priority, and I was soo pumped to find the right solution for her!
Ultimately, we ended up going with my Visual Brand Package. Stephanie already had a strong strategy behind her brand, we just needed visual representation to match that. So she booked the package and we got to work!
Step One: Once the booking was underway, I created and shared a Pinterest board with Stephanie. We had already discussed some of her basic preferences so I started adding to the board right away.
Step Two: Next, we set up a call where we could look over the board together. We removed some pins, and add others. It was my goal to leave this call with a clear idea of who Stephanie was looking to attract with her new brand. The rest was up to me to pull together.
Step Three: Using everything we had discussed, I created two mood boards. One I called ‘High-End Moody’ and one was ‘Clean and Simple Relaxation.’
Then, Stephanie went through both boards and ended up selecting pieces she liked from each, so I pieced that all together and started creating logos.
Step Four: Design time!
This part is always the most fun for me. I get to take an idea and put it into something tangible. For this project, we pulled in elements of the Lake Tahoe area (her name is Evergreen Esthetics for a reason), and paired it with expensive and high-end design.
After a week of work, Stephanie’s final brand was delivered. With logo options, beautiful fonts, a moody color palette, and custom social media templates, we were both SO happy with how it turned out! Take a look at what we came up with here:
I absolutely love how this brand turned out!
